The concept behind the book is about a young boy who uses his imagination to create superheroes, who ultimately help him get through his everyday life.

“I want to inspire creativity and kindness. The goal is to show that kind of good can win, and being kind can be helpful, and then to be just as creative as possible,” Acra said.

Acra says he loves hearing the students use their imagination and come up with their own superheroes.

“The creativity that they bring is so inspiring, I can’t keep up with them on creative superheroes. The class I just had came up with a super power of trying to clean out earwax. I would have never come up with that one,” Acra said.

There are two of the seven books completed from Acra’s series. He hopes to have the third book done by the end of October.
