Firefighters put out a fire at the Dude Rancher Lodge in Billings on Sunday morning.
The call came in at 9:09 a.m. for the fire at 415 North 29th Street.
Battalion Chief Derrek Mitchell said crews on the first two engines reported flames and smoke.
He said they quickly attacked the fire on the second floor and had it contained within 15 minutes.
The hotel was evacuated by the time firefighters arrived and everyone got out safely.
Mitchell said the fire is under investigation and may have started in a room.
