Officials in Lewis & Clark County have ordered the immediate evacuation of residents in some areas northwest of Helena.
The order was issued at 4:57 p.m. on Wednesday and applies to all residents north of Custer and south of Lincoln Road and west of Green Meadow.
Officials says the evacuation is due to a rapidly moving fire. They ask that people do not call 911 for information.
