GREAT FALLS — Shane Thomas Wing has been charged in Great Falls after he allegedly threatened to kill several people.
Court documents state that on Tuesday afternoon, Wing went to A Healthy Horizon at 824 2nd Street South and demanded a $1,000 refund, and reportedly told employees that he had a pistol and was going to kill people.
Police officers were sent to the scene, and learned from dispatchers that the employees had left the building through a back door, and that Wing was still inside.
An officer then saw Wing leaving the business and detained him.
Employees told officers that Wing had come into the store, and when he was greeted, he "seemed very serious" and began demanding the refund, and wanted to have an attorney as well.
An employee said that Wing told her he had a pistol and was thinking about killing people; court documents state that one employee confirmed seeing the pistol.
Wing was carrying a black bag, and set it on the ground; at that point, the employees quickly went out the back door.
Wing has been charged with felony robbery (attempt).
