Missoula County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man in connection with shots fired on Friday night in the Upper Woodchuck area near Florence.
No one was injured in the incident, which was reported at around 6 p.m.
The man surrendered to deputies without incident, according to the Sheriff's office.

Missoula County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of shots fired near Florence, Montana in the Upper Woodchuck area, at approximately 6:00 p.m. this evening. No one was injured in the incident.
Missoula County Sheriff’s Deputies and Special Response Team (SRT) are on-scene, have identified the suspect, and are working to apprehend the suspect.
The suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous. For your safety and the safety of Deputies, please avoid the area. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
The identity of the man has not yet been released. We will update you if we get more information.
