"High-risk" search warrant yields arrests in Kalispell

The Flathead County Sheriff's Office said that at about 6 a.m. on Thursday, the Northwest Montana Regional SWAT Team served a high-risk search warrant at a residence on 3rd Avenue West near West Center Street in Kalispell.

The search warrant was served for both the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office and Kalispell Police Department’s Detectives Divisions for evidence in stolen property and burglary cases.

Numerous people were believed to be staying at the location, several of whom had outstanding arrest warrants, violent assault historie,s and some believed to be in possession of firearms.

Several people left the residence without incident, but three refused to come out and barricaded inside.

The SWAT team was able to force them out using various less-lethal tools and techniques.

Four people were arrested on numerous warrants:

  • Jason L. Abregana, 27 years old, of Kalispell
  • Dexter A. Sisco, 29 years old, of Bigfork
  • Logan A. Mejak, 23 years old, Transient
  • Alexis Sullivan, 22 years old, of Columbia Falls

Evidence from a burglary as well as narcotics were found at the location.

The Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post: "We value our partners at the Kalispell Police Department and in our community and we are committed to your safety and security. If you are a serial criminal beware, we will identify your crimes, we will find you and we will put you in jail."
