Khalil Cornel Stinson will serve eight years in the Montana State Prison for sexually assaulting a Great Falls teenager.

Police officers were called to a party in October of 2017, which reportedly involved juveniles and alcohol. Some juveniles at the party reported that an adult man, identified as Stinson, was having sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl.

Police said the girl was highly intoxicated and did not remember the incident. Stinson later admitted to police that he knew the girl was drunk and also knew her age.

He was sentenced to 20 years in prison with 12 years suspended. He will receive credit for 437 days served in jail and has been designated a Tier 2 sex offender.

NOTE: “Sexual intercourse without consent” is the legal term in Montana for what is commonly referred to as rape, according to Montana Code.
