Taj Lamar Wilson has changed his plea for attempting to have sex with an underage girl during an undercover sting in 2015.
Wilson pleaded guilty to one count of attempted prostitution.
In December of 2015, Wilson was arrested as a part of an undercover sting operation conducted by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
At the time, Wilson was also charged with two counts of possession of dangerous drugs but those charges were dropped.
A sentencing date for Wilson has not yet been scheduled.
(DECEMBER 16, 2015) Brhett Lemberger and Taj Lamar Wilson were arrested in Great Falls for allegedly attempting to have sex with an underage girl.
Lemberger and Wilson were taken into custody as part of an undercover sting operation conducted by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
According to court documents, both men replied to online ads for sex with a 15-year-old girl.
Both were informed that the girl was under-age but still agreed to meet and pay for sex.
Lemberger arrived at a Great Falls hotel with money and a condom.
He was taken into custody shortly after confirming to an undercover officer that he was there for sex.
Wilson also came to the hotel after texting the officer.
Court documents state Wilson also asked the officer if they wanted to smoke marijuana.
When he was taken into custody he was allegedly found with methamphetamine and marijuana.
In addition to the charge of sexual abuse of children, Wilson was charged with two counts of possession of dangerous drugs.
Wilson appeared in court on Tuesday where his bail was set at $20,000; it was lowered from $50,000 because of “strong community ties.”
Court documents state Lemberger is being held on a $100,000 bond.
