$52K worth of stolen property recovered near Cascade

The Great Falls Police Department announced on Tuesday morning that stolen property was recently recovered near Cascade.

The GFPD said in a Facebook post that last week, the Russell Country Drug Task Force received information that there may be stolen property being stored at a rural address outside of Cascade.

The team of GFPD detectives, ATF agents, Cascade County Sheriff’s deputies, and Probation & Parole officers executed a search of the property and recovered several high-dollar pieces of property, including:

🚔 An enclosed trailer and golf cart stolen from Great Falls
🚔 A large enclosed trailer stolen from Helena
🚔 A commercial size compressor stolen from Great Falls
🚔 A ski boat stolen from Cascade County
🚔 A car hauler trailer stolen from Great Falls (photo)

The recovered property has an estimated value of $52K and has been returned to the rightful owners.

The team took a suspect into custody and the investigation is continuing.

The name of the suspect has not yet been released; we will update you as we get more details.
