BOZEMAN — Two Belgrade women were arrested early Friday for allegedly obstructing justice after they allegedly tried to hide a man who was wanted for arrest.
According to court documents, a police officer was on patrol when he recognized a man outside an apartment building who had two warrants for his arrest.
The officer called for the man to stop, but the man ran into an apartment.
That’s when the officer followed the man into the apartment and found 30-year-old Hollie Anne Kittle and 19-year-old Falisia Ray Cruz barricading the room that the man ran into.
According to court documents, the officer found the man hiding in the closet and also found numerous glass pipes with meth residue scattered around the room.
There were seven children inside the apartment at the time.
Kittle - whose criminal history includes possession of drugs and paraphernalia, as well as a 2010 driving under the influence charge - received an additional charge of endangering the welfare of children.
Kittle’s bond was set at $5,000 in Gallatin County Justice Court.
Cruz was released on her own recognizance.
There is no word yet on the charges for the wanted man, nor his name.
