Montana added 10 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map . Of the 10 new cases, eight are in Yellowstone County.
Yellowstone County now has recorded 99 total cases, 11 of which are currently active. The Yellowstone County Jail reported late Saturday evening that seven inmates and one staffer had tested positive.
Big Horn County and Ravalli County each added one additional case on Sunday.
Montana is reporting 515 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state, but MTN is reporting one fewer total case and one fewer recovered case due to a case in Jefferson County that local health authorities report involved a patient who was not in the state.
Montana now has 42 active cases. The majority of those are in Big Horn County (26) and Yellowstone County (11).
There have been 456 recoveries from the disease and 67 total hospitalizations, two of which are active. Montana recorded 514 new tests in the 24-hour reporting period to push the state's total to 39,798. There have been 17 deaths in Montana.
