COVID-19 in Montana: 15 new cases reported (Saturday, June 13)

Public health officials in Montana reported 15 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map.

Gallatin County reported five new cases, while Lake County added three, Custer County and Yellowstone County added two, and Big Horn County and Missoula County added one new case each.

The new cases push the state cumulative total to 588. There have been 510 recoveries and there are currently 60 active COVID-19 cases statewide. Seven people are currently hospitalized and the death toll remains at 18.

MTN News is reporting one fewer total case and one fewer recovered case due to a case in Jefferson County that local health authorities report involved a patient who was not in the state.

Big Horn County is now reporting five active cases after several recoveries. Gallatin County has 26 active cases, while Yellowstone County has six active cases.

There have been a total of 58,004 tests statewide, an increase of 982 since the previous 24-hour reporting period.
