GREAT FALLS — The website that tracks COVID-19 in Montana reported on Monday (May 11) that there are now 423 recovered patients, and there have been a total of 459 confirmed cases in Montana, with one new case reported in Jefferson County since Sunday; the patients is a man in his 50s.
There are currently 20 active COVID-19 cases in Montana: seven in Toole County; one in Lincoln County; one in Lewis & Clark County, two in Cascade County; one in Broadwater County; one in Jefferson County; three in Gallatin County; one in Silver Bow County; two in Yellowstone County; and one in Big Horn County.
The following data is from DPHHS:
- There have been a total of 423 recovered patients to date. The number of recoveries by county has not been released at this point.
- There are currently an estimated 20 active cases in Montana.
- There have been 16 deaths in Montana to date. There have been six deaths in Toole County, two in Cascade County, two in Flathead County, two in Yellowstone County, and one each in Lincoln County, Madison County, Missoula County, and Gallatin County.
- There have now been 62 hospitalizations to date of COVID-19 patients in Montana; 4 of those are "active (current) hospitalizations."
- The DPHHS public health lab has completed 22,572 tests for COVID-19. The number of tests per county is not included in the DPHHS updates.

The City-County Health Department in Great Falls said on Sunday evening that they received notice of a new presumptive positive case, which would put Cascade County at 17 cases total. The new patient is a man in his 30s with a history of out-of-state travel, according to CCHD, and has no underlying medical conditions. The agency said: "Keep in mind that because this positive test result has not yet been confirmed by the Montana State public health lab, our county will continue to show only 16 cases on the State website until after the 17th is confirmed."
