GREAT FALLS — The Richland County Sheriff's Office (RCSO) is searching for a missing 13-year-old boy who was last seen swimming in the Yellowstone River.
The boy was last seen on Saturday at 1:05 p.m. about one mile south of Richland Park, according to a news release from RCSO.
He was swimming with a group before he disappeared.
RCSO officials say an intense search effort -- on water and by air -- was underway Sunday.
His name has not yet been released. RCSO officials are working to inform his family about the search effort.
