MISSOULA — A 24-year-old Missoula man died on Saturday, October 12, 2024, after crashing his motorcycle on Interstate 90.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports the motorcyclist was traveling east on I-90 west of Frenchtown at around 3:30 p.m.
According to witnesses, the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed when he missed a gradual right-hand curve, went off the road, and then hit a median cable barrier.
The man, whose name has not been released, died at the scene.
The man was wearing a helmet; alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash, according to the MHP.
