After a busy weekend, we’re tracking showers and storms again on Monday.
Those showers will linger into the evening, and eventually develop into a band of heavy rain overnight.
That heavy band will linger into Tuesday morning, and rain will break apart through the day.
The heaviest rain band will stretch from Great Falls east toward Jordan.
Along that band rain totals of half an inch to an inch will be common, with some spots in Eastern Montana picking up two inches or more.
Given the potential for heavy rain and therefore flash flooding, most of Eastern Montana is under a Flash Flood Watch from 6pm Monday until 6pm Tuesday.
If flash flooding is occurring in your area, seek higher ground.
Remember it’s never safe to drive through flood waters.
Turn around don’t drown!
