Flooding still a problem despite dry forecast

Flooding is still a problem across the area, especially along the Rocky Mountain Front.

Flood warnings and advisories remain in effect, and many rivers are still flooded.

Most of the rivers have peaked and their water levels will fall in the coming days.

The Sun River however is forecast to remain above flood stage for several days, due in part to the amount of water being released from Gibson Reservoir.

Fortunately, no additional rain is expected for the next 48 hours.

In fact, besides existing flooding, our weather looks ideal for the next few days.

Skies will remain clear Tuesday night, and sunshine is expected through the day Wednesday.

Temperatures will be climbing too.

Lows will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s, and highs will be in the mid 70s to as warm as 80 degrees.

Winds will be light.
