Steady rain moves in tomorrow, highest amounts and flooding concerns along Rocky Mountain Front

Posted

A large upper level low will bring widespread showers and thunderstorms to the area over the next few days.

A more steady rain moves in for Sunday through Monday morning.

Highest amounts of rain will be found along the Rocky Mountain Front and the adjacent plains.

An Areal Flood Watch is in effect for these areas, along with the Dearborn River.

Rainfall amounts from 1-3 inches will be found along the Rocky Mountain Front.

With the rain and run-off streams, creeks and river will rise.

For Memorial Day most showers take place in the morning.

Drier conditions move in on Tuesday and temperatures begin to warm up as well.
