We have a LOT of moisture headed out way.

Western, central, and southern Montana will pick up lots of rain Monday through Wednesday.

At higher elevations, quite a bit of snow is expected.

In fact, a Winter Storm Warning is in effect for areas above 6,000 feet in Cascade, Judith Basin, and Meagher Counties.

6 to 14 inches of snow may fall there.

Great Falls is not included in the warned area.

Total precipitation totals through Wednesday will range from 0.5 inches to 1.5 inches, so flooding is possible.

Northeast Montana and the Hi-Line will miss out on most of the precipitation.
