Spring flooding continues.

Montana’s central, eastern and northeastern regions are among the hardest hit areas.

River gauges are reporting floods along parts of Frenchman Creek, the Milk River, the Poplar River, the Missouri River, and the Little Bighorn River.

Be prepared for flooding if you live in these areas.

Areal Flood Advisories also remain in effect.

These cover standing water, ponding, and over land flooding caused by melting snow.

Flooding is expected to remain a problem Tuesday.

Temperatures will cool to near freezing early in the day, but will warm back into the 50s and even 60s through the day.

A few rain showers moving through the state may also worsen flooding.
