For the rest of the weekend expect high temperatures in the 30s and 40s and low temperatures in teens and 20s.

A high pressure ridge will continue to amplify over the pacific northwest bringing in quiet weather and average to above average temperatures this next week.
Right now, we are seeing temperatures above freezing during the day and below freezing overnight. This allows any snow melt to re-freeze overnight.
But, as we look ahead to next week, temperatures during the day and night will increase which could speed up that snow melting process in the lower elevations and cause some flooding.
Watch for water on roadways, basement flooding and ice jam potential moving forward.
We will continue to monitor this situation. But, you can prepare now by making sure your sump-pump in your basement is operational and move equipment and livestock to higher ground, especially by waterways.
