Light snow will be moving through Central Montana Monday night into early Tuesday.

However, heavier snow is expected along the divide lasting through Tuesday night.

Along the Rocky Mountain Front snowfall totals could reach 6 to 12 inches.

Another round of widespread light to moderate snow comes Wednesday into Thursday.

Many of us will see a brief surge in temperatures Tuesday.

Highs will make it above zero for most of the area, and even above freezing in Southwest Montana.

However, Tuesday morning’s lows along the Hi-Line and in Northeast Montana will still be bitterly cold.

Temperatures will begin to fall again Wednesday as a cold front pushes through.
