After a brutally cold morning, temperatures are beginning to warm up thanks to some sunshine.

Despite the slight warm up, overnight lows will once again be very cold Thursday night.

Wind Chill Advisories and even Wind Chill Warnings are in effect.

Lows will range from about zero, to as cold as 30 below.

Highs Friday will be similar to what we’ve seen Thursday, ranging from below zero to the north and east, to as high as the teens in central Montana.

Snow will begin to move into the area Friday morning, and become widespread Friday afternoon and evening.

Scattered snow showers linger into Saturday.

A Winter Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Warning are in effect Friday and Saturday.

Light to moderate snow accumulations are expected, with 1 to 5 inches for lower elevations.
