Snow has been moving through our area through the day on Thursday.

So far the snow has left mainly light accumulations, but many roads are covered in snow and ice.

More snow will fall through the evening, and even into Friday morning.

It appears snow accumulations will remain fairly light, with most spots still in line for totals of 1 to 4 inches through Friday.

Roads will remain slippery for the Friday morning commute.

No melting is expected Thursday night, as temperatures fall into the teens and single digits.

Highs will be above freezing on Friday, and temperatures will warm significantly into the weekend, so much of our fresh snow will melt soon.
