Are we sure it’s January?

Above average temperatures continue through the remainder of the weekend due to a high pressure system over the northern Rocky mountains.

The high pressure has brought plenty of sunshine as well.

We have also been very lucky seeing light winds today. Light winds will continue through Sunday.

Due to the clear skies continuing overnight, temperatures will drop in the teens and 20s overnight tonight and tomorrow night.

The biggest concern will be the chance of fog developing overnight through the morning in the Helena valley as well as other valleys.

Temperatures remain in the 40s and 50s through Monday before cooling back down in the 30s and 40s Tuesday and Wednesday.

By Thursday, as a Canadian cold front moves through, temperatures will drop. Highs temperatures on Thursday and Friday will be in the 20s.

With the cold front, we could see the possibility of snow both Thursday and Friday.
