AM showers may bring slippery roads

A large pacific storm is going to be pushing moisture into our area on Tuesday night into Wednesday.

This will result mostly in mountain snow in Western Montana, but some isolated showers may push over the divide and into Central Montana.

Latest models suggest that freezing rain could be present in these showers.

Any showers that form will be brief, and even if freezing rain does fall, it will leave only a glaze of ice on road surfaces.

However, this is still enough to make roads slippery, so be sure to check both the weather and road conditions before heading out Wednesday morning.

Despite the slight chance of a slippery commute in the morning, Wednesday is actually shaping up to be a fairly nice day.

The sun will come out in the afternoon, and help heat temperatures into the low to mid 40s.

Winds will be light for most, with a bit of a breeze in Northeast Montana.
