Dense fog to impact morning commutes

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 7 AM this morning.

Visibility could be reduced quite a bit through the areas experiencing dense fog this morning.

This afternoon will be mostly cloudy for Central Montana.

Snow is possible through the Plains, but high chances of snow showers exists for the southwest.

A warm up is in store for the weekend, but cooler weather jumps right back in by Monday with snow shower chances in the forecast Sunday evening.

The National Weather Service issued the following statement for the Dense Fog Advisory:

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM MST THURSDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREAT FALLS HAS ISSUED A DENSE
FOG ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM MST THURSDAY.

* VISIBILITIES...ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES.

* TIMING...DENSE FOG ONGOING ACROSS MUCH OF THE ADVISORY AREA,
  EXPECTED TO CONTINUE INTO THURSDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...LIMITED VISIBILITIES WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS. IF DRIVING, SLOW DOWN, USE 
YOUR HEADLIGHTS, AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU AND ANY 
CAR AHEAD OF YOU.
