(WPEC) An elderly woman was nearly run over in a McDonald’s parking lot as she tried to confront the man who robbed her inside just seconds before.
The incident occurred near NE Park St. and S. Parrott Ave. Thursday just after 8:30 p.m., according to the Okeechobee Police Department.
Police say Saturday they arrested Charles Alton Stratton Jr in connection to the incident.
In the video below, the male suspect can be seen walking toward the victim, who is sitting at a table with another woman. He leans over the victim’s right shoulder from behind to snatch her Coach purse from the seat.
