An enormous steer in the state of Western Australia has avoided the abattoirs by being too big.
The bovine, dubbed “Knickers”, stands about 6’4″, and is believed to be the tallest in the country, and weighs about 1.4 tons, local media reported.
Owner Geoff Pearson said the Holstein Friesian was too heavy to go to the abattoirs and would see out his days in the paddocks of Lake Preston, south west of Perth.
