During Sunday’s edition of “Face The State,” Jason Laird talks with author Richard Ford.
His 1990 book “wildlife” was recently turned into a movie featuring Carey Mulligan and Jake Gyllenhaal.
The book is narrated by 16-year-old Joe Brinson, who watches as his parents’ marriage dissolves in front of him as his mother begins an affair.
The story is set in Great Falls, and was partially filmed in Montana.
On Sunday, we’ll go beyond the pages and screen to hear how Ford struggled to find direction in his life at a young age, and worked through dyslexia as a writer.
“Face The State” airs on KRTV on Sunday (November 25) at 6:30 a.m. and again at 9:30 a.m.
