The need for food around Great Falls is always there and that’s why one church held a food drive on Sunday.
The World Mission Society Church of God partnered with the Great Falls Food Bank outside of Super 1 Foods to bring in donations.
Not only could people donate, but they could participate in activities such as face painting, a ring toss, and other fun games.
One member of the church said the event was their way of spreading love to the community.
“Partnering with the Great Falls Food Bank, we want to be able to feed people. They’re involved in a lot of stuff, as we all are,” said John Haywood. “Each event, each time we do one of these, it’s very important to show the love of Heavenly Mother by serving our fellow man, by serving the communities that we’re in, and by showing all of this through our actions and good deeds."
If you missed today’s food drive, you can stop by the Great Falls Food Bank with canned goods Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Great Falls Food Bank is located at 1620 12th Avenue North.
