(UPDATE, 10:38 p.m.) The Missing Endangered Person Advisory for Kay Hill Yaskus has been canceled. Kay has been located and is receiving medical treatment. The Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public for their assistance.
(GREAT FALLS) The Montana Department of Justice has issued a Missing/Endangered Person Advisory for Kay Hill Yaskus.
The Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office says that Yaskus, 75 years old, is about 5’3 and 170 pounds, and has green eyes and white hair.
The Sheriff’s Office believes she is driving a 2007 blue Toyota Camry with Montana license plate 13-4975D.
The MEPA states that Yaskus was last seen in Hamilton, and last had contact with relatives at about 2 p.m. on Thursday. She reportedly said she was looking for her husband, who was fishing at an unknown location, and that she drove to a trailhead and hiked for a while and was lost.
She told them she could see a lake from her location but could not find her way back to the path. She did not know her location when she talked to family members. She suffers from dementia and takes daily medication for it.
Her last reported location was Ravalli County, but the MEPA says that she could also be in the Flathead area or any area with lakes.
