Due to rain forecast for Saturday, June 16th, the River’s Edge Trail Luminaria Walk and the Lewis & Clark Festival have been rescheduled for Saturday, August 25th.
The Bluegrass In The Park Concert scheduled for Friday, June 15th, hosted by Lewis & Clark Foundation, will still take place in Gibson Park.
The concert will feature two Montana bands, Laney Lou & The Bird Dogs from Bozeman, and Two Big Franks from Livingston. The two bands will play in a jam session from 9:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m. to end the night.
Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and the concert starts at 6:00.
Tickets are $15 in advance, and $20 the day of. Children 12 years old and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult. They can be purchased from the Mansfield Box Office, which can be reached at 406-455-8514.
The evening will also feature microbrews along with domestics and wine and food concessions.
No dogs or coolers are allowed, but attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.
Jay Russell, the director of the Lewis & Clark Foundation, said, "We’ve had bands from Nashville, we’ve had farm bands, we had another band the year before that, but we’ve found that people just like the Montana bands so we decided let’s go with two bands that had great reception in the past, and people have really enjoyed them.”
