Linda and John Holden were inside their Pondera County home last week when they had some surprise visitors: two young grizzly bears.
From inside their house, Linda began recording video of the bears.
Linda said: "Our ‘bear man supervisor’ Wesley Sarmento came right out (10 minutes) and chased the bears away."
Sarmento is a bear management specialist with Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks.
Linda said that the bears were last seen heading west.
Sarmento estimated that the bears were two or three years old, and probably siblings.
She noted: "They just got out of hibernation so have to fatten up–but hopefully not at my place."
