Montana Ag Network Weather: June 26th

An unstable atmosphere will give way to strong and possibly severe thunderstorms on Wednesday afternoon.

Temperatures will hit the mid 70s for most of central Montana on Wednesday.

Storms are expected to begin firing off around four in the afternoon.

Hail, gusty winds, and localized flooding is a strong possibility.

Thursday will offer up even stronger storms.

The strongest storms are expected to move through central Montana and track northeast.

Large hail, damaging winds, cloud to ground lightning, and localized flooding is likely Thursday afternoon.

If possible livestock should be moved in due to the expected hail size.

less severe scattered thunderstorms will take us into the weekend.
