Saturday will start out mild before Arctic air and Pacific moisture invades Montana.
Thick clouds will build Saturday afternoon as a cold front enters the state, this will be followed by a rain and snow mixture.
The wintry mix will transition to snow overnight Saturday into Sunday, becoming widespread heavy snow by Sunday morning.
On average most of Central Montana should see six to eight inches of snow out of this storm system.
The Helena area will likely see closer to ten.
Locally heavier patches of snow can be expected, especially areas from Great Falls to Glasgow
