Montana Ag Network Weather (11/28) Above average temperatures

Posted

A few more days of above average temperatures are on tap for most of Central Montana.

Mild weather and timely precipitation continues to allow for extended fall grazing.

According to the latest USDA Crop Progress Report, Livestock movement from summer pasture is behind the  previous year and 5-year average with 87 percent of cattle and 91 percent of sheep moved.

The weather is expected to take a turn for this worst this weekend.

Snow and very cold temperatures are on track to move in late Friday.
