Not much beats an ice cream cone on a hot summer day, but Hershey has come up with the next best thing: brand new Ice Cream Shoppe Bars.
Inspired by ice cream flavors, the new chocolate bars debuted in Canada last year, but have now made their way to the U.S. The candy bars come in Strawberries ‘N’ Crème, Cookies ‘N’ Mint and Birthday Cake Sprinkles ‘N’ Crème, all with a cool and creamy textured flavor. For an extra-special touch, the candy bars are also shaped like an ice cream cone.
Unfortunately, the bars are not sold at local retailers and are a Hershey Store exclusive, available for $1.85 each at Hershey’s Chocolate World in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
You can buy them online, but only by the case, which will get you 24 bars. One box is $39.99, which makes them about $1.66 each. Shipping is free via Hershey’s Cool Ship, which ensures that the chocolate won’t melt on its way to your home.
If you will be heading to Hershey’s Chocolate World, you will also find a whole lot more than just the new candy bars. The experience store has everything from a free Chocolate Tour to a Create Your Own Candy Bar factory experience that includes the chance to build your own 1-pound Reese’s cup.
Hershey’s Chocolate World has also added a bar for the first time ever, which features beverages and candy pairings, like local beers and renowned wines that pair with Hershey’s chocolate. For the kids or those that don’t want alcohol, you’ll also find a Kit Kat Key Lime Pie Milkshake and a Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Milkshake.
Hershey’s also has another treat for summer that you actually can find in stores: Red, White And Blue Cookies ‘N’ Creme Bars. Perfect for making patriotic s’mores, the bars are white chocolate-flavored with vanilla cookie bits.
The candy bars were first introduced last summer, so they’re not completely new, but they disappeared from store shelves soon after. You can find them once again at stores nationwide, like Target and Walmart, for around $5 for a pack of six.
Which new Hershey’s treat are you most excited to try?
