While it’s pretty easy to make some of your favorite foods at home instead of always going to a restaurant or getting take-out, one treat I have not mastered is the doughnut.
Frying dough, plus icing and toppings? It’s out of my range when it comes to time spent in the kitchen. That doesn’t mean, however, that I wouldn’t love to create my own doughnut flavored just the way I like.
If you have dreams of perfectly flavored doughnuts, too, the baking titans at Entenmann’s are launching a contest that may just help those dreams come to life. The best part? Not only will one doughnut lover see their vision actually become a new flavor from the company, but others might also win cash and doughnuts for an entire year!
You can submit your doughnut ideas for Entenmann’s Fan Flavor Challenge and Sweepstakes through June 14 for a chance to have your creation made during the 2019 holiday season. The additional cash prizes and year’s supply of doughnuts are just the rainbow sprinkles on top!
To enter, just use the “flavor maker” on the Entenmann’s website to choose your base, flavor, glaze and topping, then come up with a creative name for your original creation and a summary describing why you are an Entenmann’s doughnut fan.
You can choose from quite a few unique base flavors like banana, maple, Irish cream and honey. Icing flavors include the same as the base flavors, but also frosting, cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar. You can also choose up to two toppings, like colorful sprinkles or crumbs.
The grand prize winner will have the chance to have their doughnut made during the 2019 holiday season for a limited time. They’ll also get $5,000 and a year’s supply of Entenmann’s doughnuts. Two runners-up will also receive the sweet reward of free doughnuts for a year and $1,000 each.
After submitting a challenge entry, you can also follow the instructions provided to share your original creation on social media to receive one sweepstakes entry to be placed into a random drawing for a chance to win $1,000.
Each submission will be reviewed based on passion, creativity and originality by a panel of judges, so give it your all! If you could create your own doughnut, what would it taste like?
