This week’s One Class At A Time recipient will use her grant money to purchase a document camera for her students.
Doreen Dierking teaches 7th grade pre-algebra and 8th grade algebra at Foothills Christian Community School.
She said a lot of time is spent writing problems and examples on the board.
The document camera will allow Dierking to face her class during the lesson and give her more options when it comes to saving lessons and examples from class for absent students.
The new materials can be used to project science problems onto the board for students as well.
