This week’s One Class At A Time recipient will use her grant to teach students more about public speaking.
6th Grade teacher Tammy Osentowski will be able to purchase four video cameras with the $250.
She says the cameras will help students learn in all academic areas and believes developing students’ public speaking and interviewing skills will help them succeed in school and in life.
The new equipment will allow students to learn through group projects, movie making and interviewing experts in job fields.
Students will also be able to look back and assess their own speaking abilities and set goals for improvement.
