Community Connection: GFPS Summer Food Service Program

Great Falls Public Schools’ summer food service program launched Tuesday and will run through August 14th.

The program, which runs Monday through Friday, provides free summer meals to kids 18 and under.

Breakfast will be provided from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at West Elementary School (1205 1st Avenue NW). Lunch is then served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the school.

The food trailer will stop at six other locations: Lewis and Clark Elementary (3800 1st Avenue South, 11-11:20 a.m.), Lions Park (2701 10th Avenue South, 11:30-11:50 a.m.), Sunnyside Elementary (1800 19th Street S, 12-12:20 p.m.), Gibson Park (400 Park Drive N, 12:45-1:15 p.m.), Rhodes Park (1800 19th Street S, 1:25-1:45 p.m.), and Carter Park (611 3rd Street S, 12:45-1:30 p.m.).

Select parks also have daily activities provided by Get Fit Great Falls.

The program will not be available on July 4-5.
