Colter joined KRTV in August of 2020 as an anchor/reporter. Prior to coming to Montana, he spent four and a half years as a reporter with a station in Southwest Virginia and two years as a reporter with a station in South Georgia prior to that. He was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 2013 with degrees in English and Communication.
