San Diego, CA (KGTV) — A fundraiser is being held Friday for a young Chula Vista girl who has been battling a rare form of cancer.
Four-year-old Ashley Moreno has Stage 4 brain stem cancer, and after a period of time out of the hospital, family members said she was re-hospitalized and is not doing well.
To help the family raise money for potential funeral expenses and other costs, Rady Children’s Hospital is hosting a fundraising event on Friday evening.
The “Summer Night for Ashley” will be held from 5 p.m.-11 p.m. at Don Diego VFW Post 7420 (2100 Logan Ave., San Diego, 92113) in Barrio Logan.
The fundraiser will include food, dancing and raffles.
