GREAT FALLS — Great Falls Police and other law enforcement agencies are at scene of a triple homicide at the Emerald City Casino at 1701 10th Avenue South.
A press release says that GFPD and paramedics arrived at the scene at around 2:00 a.m. and found three people dead inside the casino.
A fourth victim was found a short time after and is being treated at Benefis Health System.
The release says the suspect was shot dead after an encounter with police in the area of 26th Street and 7th Avenue South around 5:45 a.m.
Authorites have not yet released the names of the victims or the suspects, nor confirmed the cause of the deaths of the victims.
The GFPD says that there is no longer any danger to the public.
Investigations will continue in that area for the next several days. GFPD along with the Cascade County Sheriff’s Office and the Montana Department of Criminal Investigation are working together on the case. Investigators request the public stay away from the scenes.

As of 8 a.m., 26th Street South is closed from 7th Avenue South to 9th Avenue South and will remain closed until investigators have processed the area.
The GFPD has scheduled a news conference for 2:45 p.m. today; we will have a reporter there and keep you updated.
