Prepping your skin before applying makeup is a critical first step. Products used for this include moisturizers and face primers. Combining an oil control moisturizer and a BareMinerals hydrating primer, Linda Michael’s Makeup Artist Katey begins her makeover services.
Katey then tackles any blemishes on the face by using a long-lasting BareMinerals concealer, evening out our model’s skin tone before powdered foundation is applied. Lastly, a finishing powder is used as a tool for keeping the foundation in place, minimizing the appearance of pores, and absorbing excess oil.
Katey then selects BareMinerals’ Lashtopia volumizing mascara. “I feel like mascara builds up the focus to the eyes,” said Katey. “We want everyone to look at the eyes when they look at you.”
The last and one of the most important steps is the finishing spray. It sets the look and “leaves the makeup where it is for the rest of the day.”
