Much of the success of the 1919 Victory Stampede in Calgary was due to Guy Weadick's exciting advertising which utilized the artwork of Charles M. Russell and Edward Borein, depicting striking images of bucking broncos, cowboys, and steer ropers which appeared in newspaper ads and on posters.
Charles M Russell's involvement with the 1919 Victory Stampede eventually led to a unique - and unusual - royal connection, which is just one part of this important exhibition.
