Just when you thought Amazon Prime Day could not get any better, they turned it into Amazon Prime DAYS. Amazon’s big sale will last for two days this year, meaning you have an extra 24 hours to scoop up amazing deals.
All day on both July 15 and July 16, Amazon Prime shoppers can save big on deeply discounted items (from Fire TV, Echo and Kindle products to DNA test kits right down to pantry items) in a sale that rivals Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
Last year, Amazon extended its Prime Day by 12 hours for a 36-hour shopping-palooza. One of the most popular deals was on Instant Pots, but stand mixers were also hot items during Prime Day 2018.
This year, though, we will get a full 48 hours of crazy-low discounts in July. It’s going to be big.
Amazon Prime shoppers bought more than 100 million products on Amazon Prime Day 2018, making it the most profitable shopping event of the season, surpassing even Cyber Monday and Black Friday. Shoppers not only saved big online, but also at Amazon partner Whole Foods, where people scooped up amazing deals on produce and pantry items.
Last year, Prime members got $10 off their Whole Foods purchases when they spent $10 or more, and while experts predict a similar discount for Whole Foods Prime shoppers this year, we don’t yet know what the 2019 deals will be — though we have some solid guesses based on past year’s deals.
If you aren’t an Amazon Prime shopper, you will not be able to take advantage of these incredible deals. But you can sign up for a free 30-day Prime membership just in time for Prime Day 2019. The average cost of Amazon Prime is $12.99 a month, or $119 a year. There are student discounts for eligible shoppers.
The deals begin at midnight Pacific Standard Time on July 15 and last until 11:59 p.m. Pacific on July 16.
