We are tracking isolated showers this morning that will turn into widespread showers by this afternoon.

Much of the state will see some type of precipitation in one form or another through Thursday evening.

Temperatures take quite the dive today, and we only will get up into the 40’s and 50’s for the state: a good 10-20 degrees below average.

Showers linger overnight into tomorrow.

The heaviest showers will occur in Central and Northeastern parts of the state.

Over an inch is estimated to accumulate through Northeast Montana through Thursday evening.

Rainfall totals over next 48 hours

Overnight snow showers can’t be ruled out for those higher elevations into tomorrow morning.

The rain that sticks around for the next 24-36 hours is much needed and will be a little help to our drought conditions across the eastern part of the Hi-Line.
