We’re tracking another day of below average temperatures for Central Montana.

Although a little cool today, we are expected to remain mostly dry across the state except for a few lingering showers to the Northeast.

A stray isolated shower can’t be ruled out over the mountains this afternoon, however nothing significant is expected.

As we head toward the weekend, weak down sloping winds off the Rockies will aid in warming temperatures on Saturday.

Daytime highs will finally climb back to seasonal average for our area, likely reaching the mid-70s.

But don’t hold your breath, the warmer weather isn’t expected to last long.

A cold front is on track to drop out of Canada this next week allowing for cooler weather and more rain by Wednesday.
